Meet Dr. Barnes
I love dentistry! It's a great joy to be able to help my patients know and understand true oral health. I like to go beyond simply fixing things. I want to know what caused the problem so we can make sure it is unlikely to happen again. This involves a totally different approach to dentistry -- comprehensive and complete dental care. Just think about what is the opposite of complete dentistry. Here's a hint - incomplete dentistry. I don't want that for me or you.
Dr. Christopher (Chris) Barnes is a dentist and office owner. Following graduation from L. V. Berkner High School in Richardson, Dr. Barnes attended Baylor University, earning a B.A. in Psychology. After earning his undergraduate degree, he worked in the business community while pursuing a graduate business degree. A new direction led Dr. Barnes to dental school where he graduated in 1998 from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.
Dr. Barnes is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society and American Academy of General Dentistry. These professional organizations encourage and promote high standards in dental care.
Dr. Barnes enjoys spending time with his family, running marathons and ultramarathons, woodworking and reading American history. He lives in Murphy with his wife Beth, also a graduate of Baylor University. Together they have 24-year-old triplets Lydee, Logan and Luke who graduated from Texas A&M University in 2019. All three married this past year.
